Bank of Scotland Foundation – new grant programme

Cairns Counselling has been supported by the Bank of Scotland Foundation through the receipt of a grant to support our core running costs. This fundamental support acknowledges our well established service, which has delivered a tried and tested benefit to our community. This financial support allows us to fund the ongoing and recurring costs associated with delivering the service.

We were pleased to help the Bank of Scotland Foundation in the promotion of their newly launched Grant programmes.  Sarah Bremner from Cairns along with Iona Mitchell and Duncan Peter from CLAN, and Fiona Alderson from NoW, were representing charities who have all benefitted from the support of the Bank of Scotland Foundation. They have distributed nearly £5 million annually to support good causes and have developed a new grant making strategy to provide flexibility. Having listened to the experiences of small to medium sized Scottish charities, the new grants programme will provide stability by funding core costs and is targeted to reach the most vulnerable people across Scotland. Eligible charities must demonstrate that they address disadvantage or social exclusion. For more information go to https://www.bankofscotlandfoundation.org/
